These terms govern your school's use of the ZING Activ Teacher Portal (the “Service”), provided by «ZING Activ Pty Ltd» (ABN «…») (“ZING Activ”, “we”). By using the Service, the school (“you”) agrees to these terms.
We provide a curriculum, teaching and assessment platform for Australian primary schools, including ZING-authored lessons and tools, and a workspace where your staff can plan, deliver, assess and report.
“Your Content” means everything you and your staff create or upload in the Service — units of work, uploaded materials, student records, assessments, reports, notes and similar.
You own Your Content. The school (and its diocese or system, where applicable) owns all of Your Content. ZING Activ claims no ownership of it, and acquires no rights in it except the limited licence below.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, and for no other purpose. We do not sell Your Content, do not disclose it except to the sub-processors needed to run the Service (see the Privacy Policy), and do not use it to train external AI models.
You can export Your Content at any time from within the portal. On termination, we will delete or return Your Content to you on request.
We own the Service and all ZING Content — our lessons, videos, simulations, templates, software and trademarks. While your subscription is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use ZING Content for teaching within your school. You may not redistribute or resell ZING Content, or use it to build a competing product.
Curriculum and syllabus material is reproduced from the relevant authorities (NESA, ACARA, QCAA, AERO and others) under their respective licences; their rights remain with them.
We handle personal information under our Privacy Policy. You are the data controller; we are your data processor. All school and student records are stored and processed in Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2, via Supabase). Data is not stored offshore. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
You agree to use the Service lawfully; to upload only content you have the right to use; to protect student information and keep account credentials secure; and not to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.
Access is provided under your subscription or order with us «as set out in your order/agreement». «Fees, billing and renewal terms».
Each party will protect the other's confidential information and use it only as needed to perform under these terms.
The Service is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Service is otherwise provided “as is”. «Detailed warranty terms».

Either party may terminate as set out in your order. On termination, your access ends and Your Content is deleted or returned to you on request.
We may update these terms; we will note the review date above and notify you of material changes.
